Malley Industries is an award-winning manufacturer of ambulances, wheelchair accessible vehicles and thermoformed automotive-related products. We have an immediate need for a Production Supervisor in our Dieppe NB plant.

The Production Supervisor will be the key interface between the Production Manager and production planning activities. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor will take the Production Manager’s direction to …

  • Utilize the ERP & Labour Tracking system to open and track jobs through all phases of production.

  • Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, budgetary and personnel requirements.

  • Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring job results; coaching employees and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.

  • Maintain workflow by; setting processing variables; monitoring equipment, personnel and implementing cost reductions;

  • Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities and resolving problems.

  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

  • Compile and analyze production performance records.

  • Resolve personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions and recommending action.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by benchmarking state-of-the-art practices

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant job experience

  • Production Planning, dealing with complexity

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Process Management & Improvement

  • Highly organized and detail oriented

  • Experience managing requirements and/or planning in an MRP or ERP environment, experience with Syspro a definite asset

  • Solid skills in Microsoft Office Suite with a strong focus in Excel

  • Coaching
