As Human Resources Coordinator you would be involved in all aspects of Human Resources functions within our dynamic and growing manufacturing company. Reporting to the Vice President in collaboration with the Director of Finance, this role requires a high degree of accuracy for administrative data management as well as a strong ability to connect with people at all levels within the organization.
Among your varied responsibilities, the Human Resources Coordinator will be expected to plan, implement, and evaluate human resources strategies that support organizational goals. This includes leading efforts in recruitment, candidate screening, interviewing, and reference verification, as well as onboarding, retention, and administration of the employee group benefits plan. You will also play an active role in performance management, working collaboratively with other key team members. This is a dual role, requiring both confidential administrative support and the strategic thinking necessary to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics.

Role/Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate human resources strategies that support organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization, offering guidance, resolving conflicts, and maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Provide administrative support across HR functions, ensuring accuracy, discretion, and urgency.
- Lead and manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, reference checks, and offer coordination.
- Coordinate and deliver a welcoming and thorough onboarding experience for new hires.
- Administer and manage the group benefits plan.
- Support performance management processes in collaboration with leadership, including performance reviews and development planning.
- Design and implement initiatives to support employee retention, engagement, and growth.
- Conduct employee surveys and analyze feedback to guide HR strategy and employee experience improvements.
- Promote and support occupational health and safety initiatives with employees and leadership, ensuring compliance and best practices.
Requirements:
- University degree or college diploma in Human Resources Management.
- CHRP designation or actively working toward certification.
- 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally supporting the full employee life cycle; experience in a manufacturing environment is a strong asset.
- Strong fluent English communication skills, (written, verbal, and presentation).
- Bilingualism in French (speaking, reading, and writing) considered an asset.
- Proven success in employee engagement, leadership support, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Solid understanding of employment law, HR compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated respect for confidentiality and adherence to privacy standards.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and document management skills.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and committed to making a long-term impact within the organization.
