We are looking for a new engineering team member to focus on the design and development of electrical systems. 

Electrical installations are integral to the reliability of the specialized vehicles we manufacture. The Electrical/Electronics Technician will be able to design electrical harnesses, select appropriate connectors and other hardware, design basic logic circuits and layout the schematics to be used by production to manufacture the ambulance electrical system. The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot electrical systems using a systematic approach, be able to work with relays, fuses, sensors, diodes, inverters, batteries and charging systems and demonstrate understanding of wire gauge and application. They should be self-motivated and have a keen eye for details. 


  • Prepare electrical harness and assembly drawings
  • Assist with the design and improvement of efficient logic systems
  • Program logic systems
  • Recommend continuous improvement for electronic system to improve design, assembly, and maintainability
  • Set up test bench for assembly testing
  • Troubleshoot electronic and electrical issues with customers
  • Integrate with the vehicle OEM and other third-party devices
  • Analyze and evaluate function of newly installed equipment
  • Assist in product R&D from concept stage to final design
  • Assess product compliance to industrial standards

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor/Fusion 360, and AutoCAD Electrical
  • Proficient in drafting techniques 12-volt DC systems, low voltage wiring
  • Proficient in MS office Suite (Word and Excel)
  • Good understanding of CAN Bus protocol
  • Background in electrical design and manufacturing
  • PLC programming skills would be a benefit.


  • PLC programming: 2 years                            
  • Electronic manufacturing: 2 years
  • Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical: 2 years          
  • Drafting and Assembly: 1 year
