Refurbished Ambulances
Before you have a look at our inventory of previously owned ambulances we consider it to be absolutely critical that you take the time to understand two things:
The Malley Advantage
Our reconditioning criteria
The Malley ADVANTAGE
What is the Malley Advantage ?
It's actually YOUR Advantage !
Our used inventory is actually the end product of the Province of New Brunswick's Ambulance Procurement Program. Since 1999, Malley Industries has been contracted by the provincial government to replace every ambulance in the fleet every four years. As part of the contract, Malley Industries was also given the mandate of developing a fully-audited and comprehensive industry-specific Preventative Maintenance Program.
What is so unique about this program?
-
All of the vehicles on the program are leased on 36
to 60 month terms and will be returned to Malley
industries upon lease termination.
The various ambulance operators are contractually
required to abide by the terms of the Malley
Industries Preventative Maintenance Program.
-
Only fully authorized automotive Service Centers
are allowed to perform the maintenance schedules
of the PMP program.
-
A comprehensive and detailed procedure was developed
for the actual performance of the maintenance schedules
by the authorized Service Centers.
-
Throughout the life of each program vehicle, Malley
Industries' Vehicle Quality Coordinator has conducted
regular audits of the ambulance operators as well as
the Service Centers to ensure full compliance to the
Preventative Maintenance Program.
What does that mean to you?
All pertinent maintenance summary reports will accompany the used ambulance you purchase.
Because of our audit component, the records and schedules can be relied upon to be accurate, and to have been performed to exacting standards.
It's one thing to be able to purchase a used ambulance that comes with service records: it is quite another to purchase one that has had the Preventative Maintenance Program requirements of its user (operator) fully audited and also includes the performance of them by the actual servicing facility.
WE ARE NOT AWARE OF ANY OTHER SELLER OF PREVIOUSLY OWNED AMBULANCES THAT CAN OFFER ANYTHING TO COMPARE WITH THE MALLEY ADVANTAGE.
Reconditioning Criteria
All retired ambulance chassis are mechanically checked and refurbished in strict adherence to the maintenance schedules contained in the preventative maintenance program as outlined in the New Brunswick Ambulance Procurement system.
The ambulance conversion is also subjected to a stringent multi-point Malley Industries inspection. Any deficiencies identified by means of our inspection standards are corrected prior to the sale of a reconditioned vehicle.
Malley Industries has full capability to bring reconditioned vehicles to full compliance to any governing regulatory standards as required in the jurisdiction of the end user.
